Last week Tues I turned the big 25!! *queue the half way to 50 jokes* …I really wanted to write something deep & meaningful about passing this milestone in my life….BUT I’m drawing a blank lol. So I’ll just say, that I’ve had a fabulous birthday & that I’m very grateful to the friends & family that celebrated with me last Tues & over the weekend. I had such an amazing time!
Of course I made my own cake – everyone that bakes does this right??? Shop bought cakes just don’t taste the same anymore :-(. I made my favourite chocolate cake; filled & covered it with a chocolate ganache buttercream, then decorated with maltesers and white and milk chocolate fingers. It really was too good to share – but sadly I had to (boooo!).
